Media companies (e.g., news companies) of developed countries are basically profit-making enterprises. They have to (1) match their supply (e.g., news reports) to demands from viewing audience/readers and advertiser passively and (2) kindle such demands actively.
Also, audience and readers like criticizing and brining others to "their own subjective" justice and ethics, which are not necessarily backed by laws, rules, regulations, common sense, or subjective facts.
Then all the reports other than simple reporting of object facts from media companies are just one form of entertainment; we cannot and should not seek truth.
